A couple annoucements:
1) Beginning May 27, the Township will collect FEMA qualified storm debris ( this excludes hazardous materials, concrete and masonry, new construction scraps and contractor generated demolition materials) by request. The request must be made via e-mail KFalke@tomsrivertownship.com or by calling 732-255-100 ext. 8101.
2) There is also a relevant traffic advisory that was posted by the town: “Be advised beginning May 29, a construction project at the Route 571 bridge over the Toms River will mean a detour there for all westbound traffic on county roadway. Traffic heading west on Route 571 will be diverted on to Route 527 before reconnecting on Route 70. Eastbound traffic on Route 571 can continue to cross the bridge and will not be detoured during construction. The detour will take motorist from Route 571 west on to Route 527 north to Route 70 west before reconnecting with Route 571. This is an extended project. 10 weeks possible. Plan accordingly.”
